COMMUNITY BAIL FUND
Restoring Justice is partnering with The Bail Project and Pure Justice to use donations to pay bail for people in need during the Covid-19 pandemic at no cost to them or their loved ones. We are independent nonprofit organizations that are not affiliated with or part of any law enforcement agency. Your client must meet the following criteria to be eligible for bail assistance through this partnership:
CRITERIA:
Total Bond Amount of $5,000 or less
Pre-trial Detainee (have not pled guilty or been sentenced)
Not Charged with a Crime Involving Family Violence
Not Subject to a Parole or ICE Hold
Incarcerated at Harris County Jail

If your client does not meet the Total Bond Amount or Family Violence conditions described above, we still may be able to help if the total bond amount is less than $25,000.
