Restoring justice is requesting a $10,000 grant to support our services.
legal representation to those who cannot otherwise afford it
We are market leaders in changing the culture of indigent defense towards holistic, client-centered work. Our ongoing legal representation to our most vulnerable community members supports the State bar, provides life-giving and innovative training completely unique and necessary from the law school experience that uplifts our attorneys’ in their life-long careers.
Second Chance/Clean Slate Support
Once we provide holistic, client-centered representation, we are able to give our clients a second chance and often clear their criminal records through proper disposition and partnerships for free expunctions and non-disclosure petitions so that our clients are able to begin their journey towards sustainable employment. All of our clients are under-served, from low-income neighborhoods, and primarily people of color marginalized by our criminal legal system. This program will provide them justice where they would otherwise get none.
Impact Pillar Alignment: Jobs and Skills
