In 2022, 27 detained persons in Harris County Jail died due to inhumane living conditions, overcrowding, and neglect/violence at the hands of jail guards. So far, in 2023, there have been 23 deaths. These are just a few existential threats our clients have to face, along with others in our criminal legal system. 

We're gathering on April 19th at 11:00am in the Restoring Justice Center to fight to end mass incarceration here in Harris County. We will chant, sing, pray, and walk for freedom!! All families and community welcome to join us! 

This will also be a school supplies drive! Please bring whatever supplies you have for our clients’ families!
