Mike Nichols is Restoring Justice’s Partners Manager. He pursues and cultivates our partners and aids a robust fundraising strategy, while overseeing the implementation of all aspects of our Adelphoi program, which helps foster relationships between clients and members of the community. He is committed to connecting with those who desire to learn about racial injustice, seek criminal justice reform, and pursue the good of those affected by the criminal justice system.
Before joining the RJ team, Mike spent a few years mentoring teens in Houston's Third Ward community and is currently most passionate about the work he is doing to re-establish the humanity of those affected by mass incarceration. Through his experience, Mike has developed a unique perspective when it comes to underserved communities. Influenced by his faith and upbringing, he aspires to use his career to provide a voice to the Black community.
Mike is currently pursuing a degree in Sociology at the University of Houston. When he’s not working or studying, he enjoys visiting art museums and coffee shops with his wife, and reading books that focus on philosophy, theology, history and poetry. Mike’s favorite song is Inner City Blues by Marvin Gaye.
